Job summary

Drury Hotels seeks a proactive Maintenance Technician at our Louisville property to perform repairs and preventative maintenance across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC, ensuring safe operations and guest comfort.

You will document work, train team members, and support department staffing while contributing to a welcoming, well-maintained hotel environment that guests love.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills across hotel systems.
• Ability to dismantle and repair equipment and restore functionality.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, filtration, and mechanical operations for pool maintenance.
• Experience implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs.
• General building maintenance including electrical and plumbing.
• Ability to speak, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair.
• Implement and monitor safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to guest experience through courteous service.
