Drury Plaza Hotel invites skilled Maintenance Tech I to join our Columbia property. You will maintain a safe, smoothly operating hotel environment and perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.

In this role you’ll train team members, keep detailed records, and support guest satisfaction through courteous service. We value self-motivation, organization, and the ability to handle emergency repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills across hotel systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and safety practices.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair machinery faults efficiently.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Flexibility to respond to emergency repair requests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, smooth-running hotel property and grounds.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repairs.
• Implement safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Keep detailed records and reports; provide training to Maintenance Tech I team.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction through courteous service.
