Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to keep our property in top condition. You will perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment, plus light carpentry and painting as needed to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates bring advanced maintenance knowledge, the ability to dismantle and repair equipment, and experience with preventative maintenance programs. English communication and teamwork are essential to help guests enjoy their stay.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across multiple systems.
• Ability to dismantle and repair equipment as needed.
• Knowledge of water testing and pool maintenance.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Broad building maintenance including electrical and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, smooth-running hotel property and grounds.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repairs.
• Document records and reports of maintenance activities.
• Provide training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Assist management with recruiting for department needs.
• Deliver courteous, guest-focused service.
