Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment functions, and guest rooms remain in good repair. You will perform cleaning, repairs, and preventative maintenance per Green Shield Binder guidelines while prioritizing guest experience.

The role requires the ability to follow safety procedures, complete tasks with minimal supervision, and coordinate with management on emergencies and vendor interactions. ESA supports safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property equipment and premises to ensure guest rooms are in good repair.
• Respond to guest requests with diligent follow-through per company guidelines.
• Perform out-of-room cleaning to keep interiors, exteriors and walkways pristine.
• Complete repairs listed on work orders and follow the Green Shield Binder processes.
• Execute preventative maintenance inspections and keep accurate records.
• Follow Green Shield Inspection schedule and SOPs.
• Maintain organized maintenance areas and safety equipment compliance.
