Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment functions and guest rooms remain in good repair. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle work orders, and keep records per company standards while supporting a pristine hotel environment.

The role requires basic schooling, attention to safety, and the ability to respond quickly to guest requests. Prior experience is helpful; training will be provided to align with ESA policies and local

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently.
• Understand and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic and use measurement units.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist with resolving guest issues per policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to guest and associate experience.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision and per company standards.
• Respond to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Perform out-of-room cleaning to keep premises pristine.
• Complete repairs on work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as outlined in policy.
• Follow Green Shield Inspection schedule daily.
• Maintain records in accordance with Green Shield Binder.
• Keep maintenance areas organized and inventory secure.
• Maintain boiler rooms, electrical rooms, HVAC rooms and fire safety equipment.
• Assist with emergencies at property or sister sites when needed.
• Coordinate with outside vendors as directed by management.
• Assist with cleaning areas of the hotel as needed.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
