Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment functions correctly and guest rooms are in good repair. You will follow the Green Shield Binder and management directions to complete tasks promptly and to company standards.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, repairs, and maintaining a clean, safe, organized work area, with a focus on guest satisfaction and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Read and write in English to communicate with guests and staff.
• Follow safety rules, procedures, and manuals consistently.
• Keep clear, routine reports and records as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property equipment is functioning and rooms are in good repair.
• Perform repairs per work orders and maintain cleanliness per standards.
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and follow safety SOPs.
• Assist with guest requests and maintain a tidy, safe environment.
• Monitor and coordinate with management and vendors as needed.
