Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of hotel systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will work well on a team or independently, following health and safety guidelines to keep buildings and common areas in top condition.

This role may require flexible scheduling and readiness to respond to emergencies or weather-related maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Identify and report safety hazards and notify supervisors of damages or disturbances.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpet and tile maintenance and repairs.
• Paint, minor roof repairs, and other exterior projects.
• Repair pool and exercise room equipment if necessary.
• Engage in preventative maintenance programs.
• Check stock levels of consumables and replace as needed.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineer and Management on technical projects.
