Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect and repair hotel systems, perform preventative maintenance, and manage basic project work. The role supports both team-based and independent tasks while observing health and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate works well under pressure, communicates effectively with guests and the management team, and is flexible to schedule changes including weather-related shifts.

• Available to work flexible hours including weather-related maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair hotel systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic cosmetic tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and large/small project work with the team or solo.
• Report to management with shift notes and complete required reports.
• Assist in exterior maintenance in inclement weather (snow removal, de-icing).
• Assist with safety checks and follow health and safety guidelines.
