Job summary

Island Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair and maintain hotel systems and equipment. You will work with the Chief Engineer and team to keep guest areas safe and well-maintained, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to work alone or in a team, and capable of flexible scheduling. The role involves preventative maintenance and timely reporting to management while delivering excellent guest service

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain hotel systems and equipment.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpet and tile maintenance and repairs.
• Paint, perform minor roof repairs and exterior projects.
• Repair pool and fitness equipment as needed and participate in preventative maintenance.
• Prepare shift reports for management and coordinate withChief Engineer and team.
• Respond to adverse weather for exterior maintenance when required.
