Job summary

The Lodge of Four Seasons is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Engineer to help maintain guest rooms, facilities, and the property to the highest standards. You will perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting throughout the hotel, ensuring safety and comfort for guests.

Ideal candidates have problem-solving skills, strong English communication, and the ability to handle a demanding schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Familiarity with basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and PTAC systems.
• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills; read, write, and speak fluently.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50–100 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to guest room work orders and service calls.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and PTAC issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of guest rooms and hotel facilities.
• Maintain the building exterior and common areas.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and safety concerns as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report issues requiring additional attention.
• Assist the Housekeeping TEAM with maintenance-related needs as necessary.
• Follow all hotel safety standards and procedures.
