Comfort Inn Near Vail Beaver Creek in Avon, CO is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to keep our hotel safe, comfortable, and welcoming for guests. You’ll join a TEAM to handle a variety of repairs and preventive tasks that support guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

The role offers hands‑on growth in hospitality maintenance with opportunities for skill development and advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in hospitality preferred.
• Experience with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall, PTAC units, and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50–100 lbs.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, including reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Respond promptly to guest room service calls and maintenance work orders.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine the appropriate repairs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep hotel equipment and systems operating efficiently.
• Assist with basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and PTAC repairs.
• Maintain the building exterior and surrounding areas as needed.
• Support fire protection and life safety systems.
• Work independently while collaborating with the hotel TEAM.

About the Role

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests? As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play an important role in keeping our hotel operating at its best.

You’ll work alongside our skilled TEAM to perform a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks, troubleshoot building and guest-room issues, support HVAC and mechanical systems, and complete daily preventive maintenance. Your work will directly contribute to delivering the high-quality experience our guests expect.

What You’ll Do

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

• Assist with housekeeping and other hotel operational needs when necessary.

• Support fire protection and life safety systems.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Work independently while also collaborating with the hotel TEAM to address maintenance needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous maintenance experience; hospitality or hotel experience is preferred.

• Experience with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall, PTAC units, and electrical systems.

• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent English communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak fluently.

• Strong work ethic and a dependable, team-oriented attitude.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50–100 lbs.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
