Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Maintenance Representative to keep hotel operations running smoothly. You will repair, replace and refurbish items around the hotel and ensure safety and cleanliness across indoor and outdoor spaces.

This role requires at least one year in maintenance, a high school diploma or vocational training, working knowledge of building management tools, basic plumbing and electrical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance or repair work.
• High school diploma or related vocational training.
• Familiar with building management software and reporting tools such as HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom.
• Basic plumbing, electrical knowledge and preventative maintenance procedures.
• CPO certification is ideal if the hotel has a pool.
• Physically able to stand, bend and kneel for long periods.
• Fluent in local language and able to meet alcohol handling laws.
• Good communication and a friendly, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, relacing and refurbishing items around the hotel
• Taking responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside of the hotel
• Following the preventative maintenance calendar and looking for new ways to improve our guests’ experiences
• Keeping your supervisor or duty manager in the loop with supply levels
• Being ready to step up and take on extra duties when the team needs you
