InterContinental Hotels Group in Boston, MA is seeking a Maintenance Representative to help keep the hotel running smoothly and guest experiences exceptional. You’ll perform repairs, support guest comfort, and contribute to daily operations with a proactive maintenance mindset.

You will work with essential tools, coordinate daily tasks, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards across indoor and outdoor areas, including guest rooms and public spaces.

Qualifikationen

• Experience – at least one year in maintenance or repair work.
• High school diploma or related vocational training.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, a building management programme and/or reporting tools like HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics and preventative maintenance procedures.
• CPO certification preferred if hotel has a pool.
• Fitness – you’ll be on your feet most of the day, and will need to bend and kneel.
• Compliance – aware of local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, and fluent in local language.
• Great communication skills, warm, welcoming and easy to talk to.

Aufgaben

• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish items in guest rooms.
• Organise supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Maintain high safety standards – follow guidelines and report incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, including car park and pool.
• Follow preventative maintenance calendar and keep systems running efficiently.
• Be a friendly face and helping hand to guests.
• Keep supervisor informed about low running supplies and issues.
• Maintain a smart, approachable appearance in uniform.
• Be ready to take on extra duties as needed by the team.
