Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Representative to keep the hotel running smoothly, handling repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The role requires at least one year in maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and knowledge of MS Office and building-management/reporting tools. Pool-related certification (CPO) is a plus. Expect physical activity and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance/repair experience.
• High school diploma or vocational training.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and building management/reporting tools (HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, Inncom).
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrics; preventative maintenance procedures.
• CPO certification for pools is ideal if applicable.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and bend/kneel as required.
• Compliance with local laws and fluent in the local language; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish guest rooms.
• Organize supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel.
• Follow preventative maintenance calendar and suggest improvements.
• Assist guests and be approachable in uniform.
