Job summary

InterContinental 62s Group plc in Naperville, IL seeking a Maintenance Representative to keep hotel operations running smoothly. You’ll perform repairs, manage supplies, and uphold safety and cleanliness across guest areas and common spaces.

Your role also includes assisting guests and supporting the team with proactive maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate has at least one year in maintenance, basic plumbing/electrical knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance or repair work.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and building management software.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems.
• CPO certification beneficial if pool is present.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and be physically fit.
• Fluent in local language and compliant with local laws.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish items in guest rooms.
• Organise supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel (e.g., car park, pool).
• Follow preventative maintenance calendar to keep equipment running efficiently.
• Be approachable and helpful to guests.
• Keep supervisor informed about low running supplies.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance in uniform.
• Be ready to take on extra duties as needed.
