Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Utility to support hotel operations. You will repair, replace and refurbish items around the hotel, help maintain safety and cleanliness, and follow the preventative maintenance calendar to enhance guest experiences.

This role requires at least one year in maintenance or repair, a high school diploma or vocational training, and familiarity with Office and building management tools. Pool licenses (CPO) are a plus where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance or repair work.
• High school diploma or related vocational training.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, building management software, or reporting tools like HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, replacing and refurbishing items around the hotel.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel.
• Follow the preventative maintenance calendar and look for improvements.
• Keep supervisor informed about supply levels and equipment status.
• Be ready to take on extra duties as needed.
