Job summary

Island Hospitality Management, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of hotel systems and equipment, supporting guest comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate works well on a team or alone, follows health and safety guidelines, and participates in ongoing preventative maintenance programs while handling work orders with care. Located in South Jordan, Utah, this role requires flexible scheduling and offers opportunities for hands-on learning and growth

Qualifications

• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and maintenance tasks is preferred.
• Ability to read and complete work orders promptly.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with hotel procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and routine servicing.
• Perform painting, minor roof repairs, and exterior projects as needed.
• Repair pool and exercise room equipment when required.
• Assist Chief Engineer and management on technical projects.
• Prepare shift reports for the management team.
• Respond to weather-related maintenance tasks as needed.
