Island Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork or independent work, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.

This position may require flexible scheduling. The candidate should be capable of working with the Chief Engineer and management on technical projects and providing timely shift reports.

Qualifications

• Must recognize and report safety hazards and notify supervisors of damages.
• Able to perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work in varied weather conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Provide excellent guest service while maintaining hotel facilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair hotel systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner and document shift reports.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and management for projects.
• Respond to emergencies as required and follow hotel procedures.
