Job summary

Extended Stay America in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment is functioning and guest rooms are in good repair. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and cleaning tasks as directed by management.

The role requires following safety policies, recording inspections, and coordinating with vendors. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered, along with opportunities to support guest experience across our hotel locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or related experience.
• Ability to read, speak and write English proficiently.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Follow safety rules, manuals and company standards.
• Interact with guests and resolve issues per policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property equipment and guest rooms in good repair.
• Perform repairs listed on work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Follow Green Shield Binder procedures and schedules.
• Respond to guest requests with timely follow-through.
• Keep maintenance area organized and tool inventory secure.
• Maintain safety equipment and complete required inspections.
• Coordinate with management and outside vendors as needed.
• Assist with cleaning and general hotel upkeep tasks.
