Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment functions, guest rooms are in good repair, and the premises remain pristine according to company standards. The role reports to management and supports regional asset goals.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, following Green Shield Binder procedures, and assisting with emergencies while maintaining an organized maintenance area and tool inventory.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and company guidelines and standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest and associate experience by maintaining property equipment and cleanliness.
• Perform repairs listed on work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections per schedule and maintain records.
