Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance across the hotel, upholding quality and sustainability standards while delivering warm guest service.

Responsibilities include room inspections, electrical/plumbing tasks, HVAC and furniture repairs, and maintaining records. A High School diploma and trade training are preferred, with opportunities for growth into supervisory roles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and Trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance to meet quality and sustainability standards.
• Identify repair needs during room inspections and address wall coverings, paint, and fixtures.
• Install, repair and program televisions and basic electrical fixtures.
• Repair furniture, plumbing, and replace/maintain HVAC pumps and units.
• Trace and repair water lines; perform kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with codes (local/state/federal) and safety guidelines.
• Support guest satisfaction goals and assist with staffing shortages during peak periods.
• Follow Service Recovery Guidelines and wear safety PPE per MSDS and OSHA standards.
