Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance at a hotel, ensuring quality and sustainability standards while delivering warm, friendly guest service.

The role includes room inspections, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and equipment troubleshooting. You will maintain compliance with codes and support guest satisfaction, with duties expanding during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, bulbs and fixtures.
• Repair furniture and minor plumbing tasks.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform and maintain work to local, state and Federal codes.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing satisfaction.
