Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance to ensure the hotel meets quality and sustainability standards while delivering warm, guest-friendly service. You will inspect rooms, repair facilities, and support maintenance across the property, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles within the engineering pathway.

The role requires prior maintenance experience or related training, a high school diploma, and trade coursework.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs and fixtures.
• Repair furniture.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps; preventive maintenance on units.
• Trace and repair water lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Perform work to local, state and Federal codes.
• Support guest satisfaction goals; assist during peak check-in/out periods.
• Follow Safety guidelines and wear protective equipment.
