Job summary
HHM Hotels is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance to uphold quality and sustainability standards while ensuring guests are treated warmly. The role involves inspections, wall repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, and equipment maintenance in a hotel setting.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, trade school coursework, and prior engineering or maintenance experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
- Previous engineer/maintenance experience required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
- Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
- Paint designated areas and items.
- Install and replace electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures.
- Repair furniture and kitchen equipment.
- Perform minor plumbing functions.
- Maintenance and repair records management.
- Comply with local, state, and Federal codes.
- Maintain guest satisfaction and assist during staffing shortages.
- Follow safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
