Job summary

HHM Hotels is hiring an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance to keep the hotel at high quality and sustainability standards. You will inspect rooms, fix electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and furniture, and help with guest satisfaction.

The role may include bell duties during peak times and requires adherence to safety and MSDS/OSHA rules. You should have a high school diploma with trade school training or equivalent maintenance experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma and Trade school course work in related field preferred.
Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
Paint designated areas and items.
Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures.
Repair furniture and repair kitchen equipment.
Trace and repair water lines and perform minor plumbing functions.
Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps and perform preventive maintenance.
Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
Ensure work complies with local, state and Federal codes.
Contribute to guest satisfaction and service recovery as needed.
Work as a bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods.
