Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking an Engineer to perform preventive and repair maintenance to ensure the hotel meets quality and sustainability standards while guests are treated warmly and professionally.

Responsibilities include inspections, drywall, painting, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and documentation of repairs. Occasional bell attendant duties during peak periods may be required. Adherence to codes and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair maintenance to hotel according to quality and sustainability standards.
• Install or repair sheetrock and wall coverings; paint designated areas and items.
• Install/replace electrical fixtures and wiring; troubleshoot kitchen equipment.
• Perform minor plumbing; maintain logs of repair work and PMs.
• Repair and replace heating/cooling pumps; trace and repair water lines.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and follow Service Recovery Guidelines.
• Work as bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Adhere to local, state, and Federal codes and safety standards.
