Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep hotel mechanical and electrical systems running smoothly. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC and plumbing, and maintain pool and exterior areas.

The role requires safety awareness and teamwork with engineering staff to ensure guest comfort and safe operations. Candidates should have strong skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and safe work practices, with a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades, including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and follow security procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule and completes maintenance logs.
• Maintains pool and exterior areas, including grounds, painting and landscaping.
• Follows safety procedures and company policies; reports incidents to supervisor.
• Assists other Engineering personnel and performs related duties as needed.
