Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the preventative and repair of the hotel’s mechanical/electrical systems and the general upkeep of the property in Miami, FL. Responsibilities include pool care, building exterior maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, with the ability to troubleshoot and document issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair hotel mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hotel mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing).
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Service swimming pool and maintain pool chemicals and filters.
• Maintain exterior areas and curb appeal (landscaping, painting).
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to supervisor.
