Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a hotel property in Pittsburgh. The role involves preventative maintenance and repairs of mechanical/electrical systems, general upkeep of the physical plant, FF&E, pools, and grounds.

The technician will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety procedures are followed in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Willing to comply with hotel policies, safety, security, and appearance standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical systems hotel-wide (e.g., HVAC, plumbing).
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool and chemical levels; completes maintenance logs.
• Cares for building exterior and grounds to uphold curb appeal.
