Job summary

Stonebridge Companies in Addison, Texas is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook food to hotel standards, supporting breakfast through room service while ensuring consistency and safety.

Under the supervision of the Executive Chef, you will follow recipes, manage stations, maintain cleanliness, handle guest orders promptly, and assist with requisitions. Requires an associate degree in culinary arts or 6 months to 1 year of experience and Safe Serve certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation methods including pantry items, sandwiches, salads and desserts.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency in quality.
• Experience in high-paced kitchen environments.
• Safe Serve/Food Handler’s certification required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all ingredients for the shift.
• Operates the cooking station efficiently and safely.
• Prepares food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and complies with food sanitation standards.
• Practices safe food handling, preparation, cooking and storage methods.
• Produces high-quality food focused on pantry items, sandwiches, salads and desserts.
• Insures workspace is stocked and follows opening/closing procedures.
• Handles and stores all food items properly.
