Stonebridge in Austin, TX is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook food to hotel standards under the Executive Chef. You will contribute to breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets and room service while ensuring high quality, safety and consistent portions.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree in culinary arts or 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and Safe Serve certification; strong time management in a fast-paced kitchen is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in culinary arts or 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of pantry items, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.
• Ability to follow recipes and use cooking metrics.
• Safe Serve / Food Handler certification required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ingredients for the shift before service begins, ensuring readiness.
• Operates the cooking station safely and efficiently, following hotel standards.
• Prepares food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and complies with food sanitation standards.
• Manages guest orders in a friendly and timely manner.
• Inspects all food visually before sending it from the kitchen.
