Job summary

The General Manager at J&P Hospitality Management, LLC will plan, direct, and coordinate all daily hotel operations. You will be the primary business leader, accountable for driving sales, maximizing revenue, and achieving GOP targets while delivering a consistent guest experience.

You will work with Area Manager and Revenue Manager to implement selling strategies, oversee staffing, safety, and compliance, and develop a strong team through coaching and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years GM experience
• Single-unit hospitality/retail experience ideal
• Proven success driving sales growth and GOP
• Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws
• Experience in HR practices and payroll basics
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
• Strong organizational and time management
• Clear written and spoken English; Spanish a plus
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
• Good judgement and decision-making
• High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage hotel per business plan and budget with focus on room sales
• Drive sales growth and revenue through property-level initiatives
• Execute company sales programs and ensure participation
• Collaborate with Regional Director of Sales to implement market strategies
• Partner with Revenue Manager to optimize rates and inventory
• Achieve and exceed GOP targets
• Review performance reports and adjust strategies
• Manage payroll data and front desk paperwork
• Hire and train staff to maintain a sales-minded service
• Ensure compliance with laws and brand standards
