Job summary

J&P Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a General Manager to lead daily hotel operations, drive sales, and maximize revenue while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The GM will oversee staffing, compliance, and safety, reporting to the Area Manager and aligning with regional leaders.

Location is on-site with 8+ direct reports, salary $50,000–$60,000 plus commission eligibility, and benefits including PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of General Manager experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Familiar with local, state, and federal employment laws and basic HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hotel according to the business plan and budget, with a strong focus on room sales.
• Deliver consistent sales growth and revenue performance by leading property-level sales initiatives.
• Execute company sales programs and ensure measurable participation and results from staff.
• Work with the Regional Director of Sales to implement market-level strategies and drive B2B sales.
• Partner with the Revenue Manager to optimize rates, inventory, and pricing decisions.
• Achieve and exceed GOP targets and review performance reports to stay competitive.
• Recruit, hire, and train quality staff and ensure timely payroll processing.
