Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a General Manager for an Indianapolis property to lead daily operations, drive financial performance and maintain a high quality guest experience. You will supervise staff, manage front office operations, and ensure adherence to corporate procedures while analyzing revenues and costs.

The role requires strong people leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and market competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a functioning automobile.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret reports and internal hotel information.
• Sufficient math skills to forecast, calculate room revenue, occupancy and labor costs.
• General computer proficiency and front office knowledge.
• Ability to work long hours and manage multiple activities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and hire all property staff.
• Oversee office operations including guest check-in/out, cash handling, bookkeeping and payroll.
• Ensure excellent guest service and maintain high service standards.
• Develop revenue management strategies and monitor competitive landscape.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, and assist with capital expenditures.
• Travel to other properties within the market and to the bank.
