Job summary

Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel is seeking a General Manager to oversee hotel operations, including food & beverage, sales, engineering, HR and accounting. You will lead the Executive Committee, drive revenue growth and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional guest service.

The role requires broad leadership in a 24/7 hotel environment, strategic planning, and strong people management. Competitive compensation with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related business field preferred
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Rooms and/or Food & Beverage functions
• Strong business communication skills verbal and written
• Strong presentation skills and ability to lead team at leadership and hourly level
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
• High work ethic and self-initiative
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite
• Some travel may be required
• Regular attendance according to established guidelines
• Professional image and confidentiality maintained at all times
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage escalations

Responsibilities

• Lead all hotel operations and outlets to meet company standards
• Direct the Executive Committee to achieve property goals
• Develop and assure revenue and profit growth using forecasting and P&L management
• Ensure compliance across departments and strive for year-over-year growth
• Deliver excellent guest service and maximize room nights, banquet sales and catering revenue
• Coach leaders to exceed performance expectations
