Job summary

ROI Hospitality Development is seeking an energetic General Manager to lead the 99-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Rhinelander, WI. The GM will drive sales, financial performance, and staff development while maintaining a high-quality guest experience.

The role requires P&L oversight, budgeting, and strong leadership; prior GM experience at a similar property is preferred. Excellent communication and people management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hotel/management experience.
• Experience as a General Manager at a similar hotel.
• Proven track record of meeting budgets and understanding P&L, budgets, and cost control.
• Field management experience preferred; sales background is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and PC skills required.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are administered.

Responsibilities

• Delivers results that contribute to hotel success by achieving revenue, guest and associate satisfaction objectives.
• Maintains a quality product and exceptional guest/employee relations.
• Maximizes room revenues through market planning and strategic marketing plans.
• Develops and maintains community rapport and ensures a visible local presence.
• Oversees security and maintains a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Manages HR functions including motivation, training, wage/benefit administration and compliance.
• Monitors financial and operating plans; develops annual budget and capital improvement recommendations.
