Job summary

ROI Hospitality Development seeks a proactive Housekeeping Manager for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Rhinelander. You will lead the housekeeping team for a 99-room property, ensuring rooms and public areas meet our cleanliness and quality standards.

You will supervise staff, manage scheduling and inventory, enforce health and safety practices, and report on performance to leadership. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Quality Control: Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
• Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and training of staff on safe cleaning practices.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities and prepare reports for management.
• Collaboration: Work with front office and maintenance to ensure a seamless guest experience.
