Job summary

Indiana Hospitality Group seeks an experienced Hotel Manager to lead a Holiday Inn Express and Suites property. You will be responsible for daily operations, driving profitability, and building a culture of excellence and cleanliness.

The GM will oversee front desk, kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance, set objectives, analyze financials, and develop strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and grow the client base. Background screen is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Hotel Manager or relevant role.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Understanding of hotel management best practices, laws and guidelines.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of PMS is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service skills and a business mindset.
• Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work at all levels (front desk, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance).
• Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve efficient operating model.
• Manage budgets/expenses, analyze financial information and monitor sales and profits.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel’s services.
• Communicate with customers, address complaints, and provide information and solutions.
• Address maintenance issues, staffing shortages, renovations, etc.
• Collaborate with suppliers, travel agencies, event planners, and other partners.
• Inspect facilities regularly and enforce health and safety standards.
