The GM will drive guest satisfaction and profitability through strategic planning and a motivated, empowered team.

This leadership role emphasizes community involvement, consistent service excellence, and the development of a culture that delivers memorable experiences while meeting NOI and budget goals.

Qualifications

• College degree in hotel operations or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Significant attention to detail.
• Understanding of NOI profitability and budget goals.
• Experience with hotel information systems preferred.
• Construction experience recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a culture-forward atmosphere for guests and team members alike.
• Focus on experiential hospitality and systems for high service levels.
• Motivate and educate team members to achieve personal growth.
• Lead by example with a teamwork mindset and hands-on approach.
• Know the property's history and local community, building relationships with local hospitality businesses.
• Monitor competition, events, and trends to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with managers to meet or exceed financial and guest-service goals.
• Establish standard operating procedures and ensure compliance.
• Schedule staff to balance guest needs with labor budgets.
• Oversee HR and accounting functions, including forecasting, reporting, and budgeting.
• Assist in developing annual marketing plans to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Participate in weekly revenue management and sales strategy calls.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings to keep staff informed.
• Ensure cleanliness and condition of equipment and areas meet standards.
