Job summary

Hampton Inn Viera in Florida is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, check them in and out, and coordinate services across teams for a smooth stay.

You will handle phone inquiries, reservations, and guest requests with a professional attitude, maintain records, and help maximize occupancy.

Weekend availability is required; prior hotel front desk or customer service experience is preferred, and familiarity with hotel systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior front desk or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel systems and reservations is a plus.
• Weekend availability is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-ins/check-outs smoothly.
• Answer phones, handle inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
• Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications via phone, in person, and through the hotel system.
• Coordinate guest needs with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments.
• Handle payments and balance cash drawers accurately.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts and update internal systems.
• Operate the hotel switchboard and wake-up call system.
• Monitor reservations and room availability to maximize occupancy.
• Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
• Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation.
• Complete shift checklists and hand off to the next team member.
