Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Florida seeks a friendly Front Desk Agent to greet guests, manage check-ins/outs, reservations, and inquiries with efficiency and a positive attitude. You will handle payments, upsell upgrades, and coordinate with departments to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of front desk experience, excellent English communication, and proficiency with property management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some hospitality training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of front desk or customer service experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; fluent English; additional languages a plus.
• Strong computer skills and ability to operate property management and reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out hotel guests promptly and professionally.
• Process payments accurately (cash, card, deposits) per hotel procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, cancellations, and requests with excellent service.
• Promote hotel services and upsell room upgrades when appropriate.
• Respond to guest complaints using service recovery to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with management and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Perform additional front desk duties (safe-deposit boxes, concierge, etc.).
