Job summary

Hampton Inn Dayton Vandalia is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide warm, efficient service at check-in/check-out and to assist guests with inquiries.

You will greet guests, verify reservations, handle payments, promote the loyalty program, and coordinate with shuttle services while upholding hotel standards and confidentiality.

This role requires a high school diploma, customer service experience is a plus, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Clear communication and computer literacy.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, register in the system, verify reservation details and payment.
• Promote and enroll guests in the hotel loyalty program.
• Process payments during check-in/check-out and report daily receipts.
• Assist guests with service requests and keys.
• Respond to guest inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
• Answer calls courteously and manage reservations accurately.
• Support shuttle or transportation services as needed.
• Maintain a neat appearance and follow standard operating procedures.
