Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Springfield, VA is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide attentive, courteous service at check-in, during the stay, and at checkout. You will maximize room revenue while delivering a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, maintaining knowledge of rates and promotions, and efficiently using the Front Desk system while ensuring compliance with all policies. Part-time hourly position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred; strong customer service.
• Must communicate clearly, multitask, and maintain a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, check in and check out efficiently and courteously.
• Answer guest inquiries about local restaurants, transport and activities.
• Balance cash, follow hotel policies and handle reservations accurately.
• Operate Front Desk computer systems and maintain promotional programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and assist with guest safety.
