Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management's hotel in Pompano Beach is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive and repair of mechanical/electrical systems and general upkeep of the property, FF&E, grounds, and pool.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and other equipment, perform scheduled maintenance, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with hotel staff to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical/electrical problems.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and hotel policies.
• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool area and other outdoor facilities; records logs and requests.
• Maintains exterior and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, landscaping).
• Adheres to company policies and safety procedures; reports unsafe conditions.
• Assists other engineering personnel as needed.
