Hotel 1000 - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in Seattle seeks a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to lead the hotel outlets, oversee daily operations, and mentor staff to deliver elevated guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in F&B, supervisory background, strong guest focus, and the ability to manage labor and costs. The role offers hourly pay of $30–$32 with benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in food & beverage operations within hotels or upscale venues.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of restaurant service standards and guest experience knowledge.
• Ability to lead floor teams with confidence and professionalism.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic financial awareness including labor and cost control.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering elevated guest experiences.
• Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Washington State Food Handler's Permit and MAST certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Support the Outlets General Manager in overseeing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including banquets & private dining functions.
• Ensure consistent execution of service standards and guest experience expectations.
• Lead, coach, and support team members on shift to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and ongoing development of F&B staff.
• Maintain strong floor presence to engage with guests, support service, and resolve concerns in real time.
• Ensure quality and consistency of food, beverage, and overall service presentation.
• Support beverage program execution, including wine, spirits, and cocktail standards.
• Assist in managing labor, scheduling, inventory, and cost control efforts.
• Help maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in operational meetings and support cross-department collaboration.
