Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Seattle seeks a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to lead a passionate hospitality team at Hotel 1000 Seattle. You will elevate guest experiences, oversee multiple outlets, and drive service excellence in a fast-paced luxury setting.

The ideal candidate brings 2–4 years in F&B, prior supervisory experience, and strong communication with a focus on guest satisfaction. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in a hotel or upscale environment.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of restaurant service standards and guest experience.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must hold (or be able to obtain) a valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit and MAST certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Outlets General Manager in overseeing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including banquets & private dining functions.
• Ensure consistent execution of service standards and guest experience expectations.
• Lead, coach, and support team members on shift to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and ongoing development of F&B staff.
• Maintain strong floor presence to engage with guests, support service, and resolve concerns in real time.
• Ensure quality and consistency of food, beverage, and overall service presentation.
• Support beverage program execution, including wine, spirits, and cocktail standards.
• Assist in managing labor, scheduling, inventory, and cost control efforts.
• Help maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in operational meetings and support cross-department collaboration.

• Must hold (or be able to obtain) a valid Washington State Food Handler s Permit and MAST certification
