Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in hospitality environments. You will ensure guest satisfaction, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with hotel staff and vendors on site.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and accurate documentation. A valid driver’s license may be required for vehicle operation, with shifts that may include evenings and weekends at hotel properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate's degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet training and certifications within 60 days; see career path link.
• Internal applicants must meet Encore's Learning Training Program requirements.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver's license required for team members operating company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed expectations of internal and external customers through proactive service.
• Maintain positive client relationships with effective on-site communication.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately; use Navigator and equipment sheets for scheduling.
