Job summary

You will lead engineering staff, manage preventative maintenance, control budget, train staff, and maintain compliance with OSHA and other laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and relevant technical training.
• Professional certification and/or licensing as required by law.
• EPA Level 3 certification for refrigerant reclaim is preferred.
• Experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or related trades.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and repair across hotel facilities.
• Coordinate scheduling of general contractor work for projects.
• Act as liaison between Engineering team and Chief Engineer.
• Oversee maintenance of plumbing, A/C, heating, and hotel equipment.
• Ensure timely, cost-effective repairs meeting specs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and budgeting.
• Train and supervise engineering staff; ensure safety compliance.
• Recruit staff using standard company hiring practices.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EEOC, Wage Hour and health laws.
• Conduct safety and service guideline trainings.
