Job summary

Encore Hospitality seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the hotel’s engineering operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance of mechanical systems and property infrastructure. Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
• Certification in HVAC, electrical systems, or relevant areas advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the engineering department and ensure optimal functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Lead, train, and supervise the engineering team; ensure safety and technical excellence.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and energy management initiatives.
• Coordinate with external contractors to complete repairs on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety regulations; conduct safety drills.
