Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in daily hotel operations and guest experience. You will mentor the Front Office team, coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments, and model exceptional service and leadership.

The role emphasizes a solution‑oriented mindset, staff development, and operational excellence to deliver a memorable guest experience while managing budget and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel management experience
• Proven success leading, coaching, and developing teams
• 3+ years of Front Office and/or Housekeeping management experience
• Strong guest service and satisfaction results
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Hospitality management degree is a plus
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with hotel platforms (OnQ, Opera, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, Slack)

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations alongside General Manager
• Lead, coach, and develop the Front Office team
• Support Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments
• Build relationships with guests and address service concerns
• Drive guest satisfaction and service standards
• Assist with budgeting, labor management, and profitability
• Identify opportunities to boost efficiency and TEAM performance
• Recruit, train, and recognize TEAM members
• Lead by example and promote a positive work environment
• Cover hotel operations in the GM's absence
